We went to IKEA over the weekend.
Just for Swedish Meatballs.
Sebastian found this kitchen set and played with it for 30 minutes. He loved it!
Once he figured out where to put all the pots and pans he was pretending to cook things and wash his hands in the sink. So cute!
We might have a future chef in the making.
IKEA Swedish meatballs=num, num. We've done that many a day, go there just for the meatballs-especially when we were in the Netherlands (wasn't as far as it is here). And we stock up now and then in their "market" so we can have some at home.
ReplyDeleteThat video is priceless. I love when you close the microwave door, and then he opens it back up. Like, "mom. No. its supposed to be open!" :)
Sometime's it is just nice to run around without getting cold or wet. Plus IKEA has kids play areas scattered all over the store. I wish we lived closer, I'd go there every week!
DeleteOnce he figured out what to do with all the pots and pans he was in heaven. My battery ran out so I didn't get video's of him really getting into it!!

ReplyDeleteMy sister said the same thing! We were deciding if we should buy it. Sebastian has a stroller too. What would our friends say?! They sure had a lot to say about him having a stroller... but a kitchen set?! Most chef's are men anyway! He was having a ball. I ran out of battery so I couldn't take more video's but he was really mixing these up and pretending to wash the dishes. I wish I would have gotten that on video!
DeleteMaybe if more little boys played with kitchen sets and strollers it would be easier for wives to get their husbands to help around the house! : )
